EXULT 2017

Exult 2017 a 3 day initial retreat conducted for Young Adults from 2nd June to 5th June was attended by 40 participants from various parts of New Zealand. The venue of CYC Christian camp in Ngaruwahia, Hamilton provided the perfect atmosphere for sessions, fellowship and activities. George Devassy was the key resource person and was supported by Adolf Goldwyn and Soji Joseph. The retreat covered various topics including God’s Love, Sin, Repentance, Holy Spirit and Evangelisation. The sharings by JY members on the importance of Eucharist, Challenges of leading a Christian life in current world were well received by the participants. Taize prayer organised on one of the nights was a new experience for many participants. 
Fr. Jobin Joseph, C.Ss.R and Fr. Manoj Kunnath, C.Ss.R celebrated mass on two of the days and spend time interacting with everyone. Bishop Stephen Lowe of Hamilton Diocese celebrated the mass on the eve of Pentecost Sunday and later spend time with the participants. The retreat also featured interactive Q&A session and outdoor activities.
